About the Role:

We are looking for an IT superstar who specializes in Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies to join our clients’ team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the IAM ecosystem, including various authentication and authorization mechanisms, protocols, and technologies such as OIDC, OAuth2, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). The candidate should also have experience working with IAM systems in large-scale enterprise environments. Experience with IoT and edge devices will be plus.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in the IAM field with a focus on enterprise-scale systems. The candidate will be required to work on-site at our clients’ office in Downtown Houston.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions for our organization that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features and capabilities.
  • Perform IAM system testing and validation to ensure high-quality and reliable service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders regarding IAM-related issues, requirements, and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IAM-related trends, technologies, and regulations and propose innovative solutions and improvements accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the IAM field with a focus on enterprise-scale systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms and protocols such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and Kerberos.
  • Strong understanding of MFA technologies and their implementation in various contexts such as mobile devices and hardware tokens.
  • Experience with IAM solutions such as Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or Microsoft Azure AD.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with IoT and edge devices will be plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • IAM-related certifications such as CIAM, CCSP, or CISSP are a plus.
